The book blurb tells the story a lot better than I ever could......or does it?Wow. Liam Kingsley did it again, I do believe. This was an awesome read in the series Liam has penned. We have two MC's: Thorne, a widower of two years from his fated mate; a small child to raise. Logan: an omega, recently jobless, soon to be homeless after the death of his beloved Nan; silently yearning for a family and a baby of his own. A dropped elephant, named Lovie, at the emergency room puts Logan in Thornes' orbit. Grateful at the return of Love; Thorne hires Logan as the manny of his son. The chemistry seems off the chart much to Thorne's surprise and dismay. First, Logan is a man; then his guilt of cheating on his dead wife. I will stop here to prevent spoilers. This is an entertaining read in the Howling Hills Heat series. It is not necessary to read the previous books in the Howling Howling Hills Heat series, but it makes it more enjoyable when meeting the old boyfriends from the previous books. I like the way Liam writes, his sentence structure, his word structure and of course his imagination. I recommend this book, as well as the many other books for an entertaining read.***************************************************************I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. When you open your heart/mind, all sorts of lovely Blessings can happen. Logan, of the good heart and unconditional loyalty finds a stuffed elephant and goes beyond duty to find the owner. Thorne, windower struggling to be a loving, caring, strong supportive single dad contacts logan to retrieve the elephant. Thorne hires Logan and Mason, Thorne and Logan become a loving family unit. Logan experiencing feels, but knows they are inappropriate and chooses to be professional. Thorne, doesn't know he has feels but loves Logan's dedication nnd loyalty to Mason. What could go wrong, we got a bunch of absolutely nice guys? Is Thorne still grieving Molly? Is he bi-curious? Does Thorne have the confidence, the courage to take the next step? Can Thorne ever recover from the talk he had about his sexuality with Molly? Totally cool story. I find this the more rewarding of group so far. I absolutely love the team and find the pack more amazing than ever. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review. This author has the best story lines, well done!
What are the chances that you are looking for the job that someone else needs to hire you for and you and that person are brought together by a child's missing toy? Thorne is still mourning his wife and he cherishes his son, Mason - who sounds like a cute kid. Logan is taking care of his granny and having a tough day with lots of things going wrong including losing his job because of things beyond his control. They come together because Logan is such a good guy that when he finds Mason's lost toy he is determined to reunite them. I really enjoyed this story. There was not an unlikable character among this trio of folks who come together and work on loving and healing one another. My heart broke for Thorne and Logan. They're both dealing with difficult things and I loved watching them come together to heal each other. Mason was adorable. This is my first book by this author and I plan on getting more of these books.

Logan is in the middle of a very bad day, he has lost his job and been informed his beloved Nan is dying, when he sees a cute kid with a hot dad drop a stuffed elephant. When Logan meets with Thorne to return the toy, Thorne turns out to be the answer to some of his problems. He needs a manny for Mason and Logan seems perfect. Then Logan loses his Nan and Thorne offers him a home. As they become closer, things seem perfect and when Logan goes into heat, Thorne is more than ready to help, resulting in finding out they are fated. However, come morning, Thorne is filled with doubts and guilt. Will Thorne allow his guilt to rule him and what happens when their one night together results in another tie to each other?I loved this book! Definitely my favorite so far in this series. Lots of emotion with some humor and very little drama thrown in. I always love a romance that includes an adorable child and falling for the nanny is one of my favorite tropes. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Logan and Thorne are perfect together despite Thorne's long held grief, which is understandable and an important part of the story. I also loved the check in with the previous couples in this series. It is always nice to see where they are now. This series is wonderful so far and I cannot wait for the next book.
